This entry started as a draft the day I received this in the mail sometime early last December. The original included the following lines before the entry was lost to the draft pile: I am watching it right now, but the only reason I got to take it straight from the mailbox to the DVD player is that Gia is out with some coworkers. She gots no love for the math metal. For Botch fans, this shit is the shit.
We saw them open for Neurosis back in whenever, and I, for one, think they blew Neurosis off the stage. But in the end, Neurosis ended up blowing us out the back door. You know when your cell phone is set to vibrate and laying on a table? You know how the vibration slides the phone around the table? That\’s what our feet were doing during the Neurosis set. There was so much bass in the mix that it had ill-effect on Mo\’s insides, so we left early. Which is just as well, because it was Botch who melted my face right off my face.
I think I intended to gush further about the Botch show I saw, and the DVD of the last show, and the hilarious commentary on the DVD, and how awesome it is that Hydrahead included a an audio CD of the final show along with the DVD for my listening pleasure.
